I love that this drone is reliable. I was not satisfied with the gimbal, so I installed an electronic gimbal. I like that this drone is versatile!

This drone is easy to fly for an inexperienced person. I ended up choosing the HS700 over other companies based on features, costs and flight time. Here are my pros and cons for flying:
Pros: easy set up // good size // flight time // helpful app and useful features // remote person view via app // price // easy breakdown and setup
Cons: camera has fisheye effect (see my included photos comparing to gopro4 // lack of remote person view without camera attached // camera resolution

HS700 very fun and a great price!!

The holy stone HS700 is very easy to fly and packed with features especially for the price. It works great with the Ophelia app and I really like the GPS waypoint feature. Buy the HS700 now and you will be really glad you did.

Get extra batteries because you will want to fly more. Charge time 7+ hours.

Toy Or Hobbiest Way to Start?

This Drone is referred to as a "Toy" well, I don't believe that to be completely true. It has a lot of "Big Boy" features such as GPS, Return Home for lack of transmission, Low Battery or just a push of the button. It also has Follow Me, Point of Interest and Pre-flight Mapping. It has a range of just over a half mile which is not far compared to 3+ miles on more expensive DJI models. I got this as a way to start a Hobby with a better option than a toy purchased from a Retail outlet.

I have about 4 hours flight time on it so far and like others have said, battery recharge time is long but by having 3 batteries it really has not been an issue.

The best part of Holy Stone is their customer service which really has been great on technical questions .

BTW The case is Tankstorm here at Amazon.

Update on 1/23/19: My drone had an arguement with a tree and lost, broke a marker light and Blade Protector Loop. I chatted with them to get replacement parts and they are sending me an "unsellable Unit" I can use for parts! What a great company! If they had 6 Stars I would give them those and then some!

Update on 2/6/19: Received "Unsellable Unit" today and the box was a little damaged and I could tell by packaging that someone at least pulled it out and likely used it, however, it is like new! I set it up and did a basic flight test and I dont see any issues other than the controller is a little more touchy. I have to say THE HOLY STONE COMPANY HAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I recommend them with 6 stars!

My son got this incredible drone for Christmas and it has lived up to all the hype! He absolutely loves it! It is extremely nimble and has excellent response to control changes and is very easy to land and take off with as well! The drone itself has a cool, sleek look and comes with an easy instruction manual to follow. The pictures it takes are very crisp and clear and the camera holds very still for optimal clarity as well! We couldn't be happier with this drone. Our next one down the road will definitely be another Holy Stone! Keep up the good work!! This drone ROCKS!!
