This is a great deal for a GPS drone. May good feature some work i need to get all to work with my Android phone. Tech support is great. A good product for your first drone.

I fly it daily and it's great.

Okay I have been fooled by other reviews on other drones . I have spent a lot of money for them . Only for them to be trash. This is the first holystone drone I have purchased. And I would have never thought I would be as excited to flight this drone hs700d with the 2k camera. Soon as I got it out the box I popped in the battery and sent it up and around . And knew this one was different from others I have had.
This drone gave me the confidence to fly the farthest I have ever tried. It seems a bit underpowered yet has the punch the get back and land . Even if it's strong winds . Long flight times .
Worth the money .

Amazing Performance BUT Look Out for Low Battery Return

First of all, I no longer have the drone thanks to the low battery return to home feature. That's where if your battery runs low the drone will automatically climb to 50 feet before returning home. Even if it was already coming down for a landing as shown in the video. My $176 drone is stuck 50 feet up in a tree 300 miles from where I live. Most drones I've had will allow you to just spin the motors until you get out but not this one. But before this happened I did manage to clock several hours of video. Including one of it landing in a stream and flying back out. That was also caused by a low battery warning. Ahhh how could I complain. The drone has been pretty impressive despite user error.
If you are looking for a fast, durable, long range drone that can carry a 190 gram payload over 800 meters then this is it. I was never able to get the follow me mode to do anything other than turn left 90 degrees and hover. The return to home mode did save me several times when I was over 2800 feet away. I would usually lose video at about 320 meters so I added an external antenna of 12.25 cm to the camera wifi. Choppy but works. Order the white one if you do because it stays much cooler in the afternoon sun.

Best value for price range in my opinion

Fantastic drone for beginners as well as anyone with a budget that doesnt include $1k drones. You will not be disappointed at the tech you get for a $200 or less price point. Would recommend

I bought this drone not as a toy, but as a tool to get some footage of my property. But I gotta say, I am loving the HS700D drone! This is only my second drone. The first one was a cheap $50 drone from Wish that I lost on the second day because the Return To Home function failed to work. With this drone, the RTH works every time. The camera gives some amazing footage as you can see in the attached video.

I only have 2 complaints so far The first is that the stabilizers on the camera broke. Admittedly, I had crash with the drone as my aim was a bit off and it hit a tree, falling about 6 feet. I was able to insert a zip tie into the stabilizer holes and it still works fine. But I would have hoped for more durability from the stabilizers.

The second is that I can get the follow me, tap fly, or path fly functions to work. When I try to enable them, I get a notice that "Your aircraft is not in hovering mode or GPS signal is week. This happens despite being connected to 15-16 satellites. Now, in fairness, I am far out in the wilderness, so perhaps that is the reason. On the other hand, with 15 connected satellites, this should be working. My guess is I am not properly entering hover mode, whatever that means. I get the drone hovering in place, but maybe there is something else I need to do? Unfortunately, there is nothing in the manual about entering hover mode.

This is the only reason that I have not given this drone 5 stars.

Overall, a great drone that is easy and fun to fly!
