Easy assembly. Little difficult to get ready to fly, but after a few flights it gets easier. Very easy to control and take videos and pics with. Would give it five stars if it hadn’t gotten “squirrelly” on me three different times. Maybe interference or operator error??? Getting more comfortable with it, still afraid of fly away, that is what happened with my last drone. Last drone was not a Holy Stone product, Just a cheap toy. Feel confident I will be happy overall with the HS700D.

I just received my HS-100 a week ago. I was very skeptical about a cheaper drone verses a DJI but i was very wrong. This drone is very stable and easy to fly. video and pictures are very good as well. The day I flew mine ther was a little bit of wind blowing and it was still very stable. I would definitely recommend this product for beginners and for medium skill users, I had a great experience on my first flight with it! It would be nice if the battery would last longer but it is about average among all the rest.

I almost lost my drone. It flew out of range and did not auto-return-to-home. I had to walk closer to it and hit the RTH button to get it to come back. I didn't wait for the low battery to bring it down as it would have come down in trees and would likely have gotten stuck.
I tested the RTH function when control is lost by turning off the controller and Ophelia app while the drone was flying. It did a smart RTH after a brief pause. I can't test the case where the drone flies out of range since I don't have a suitable area in which to do that while meeting the FAA requirements. I noticed that the app loses connectivity well before the controller does. That is probably what concerned me in the earlier incident although I still can't explain why it didn't return when I pressed RTH before I moved closer to it. I will update this review, again, when I have had a chance to try flying it out of range, safely.

Very good drone for beginners!
My first drone and it was easy to fly.
One thing that I need to inform you about is that the propellers will cut you so be real careful. I accidentally touch the propellers when I was trying to save it from crashing.
So make sure to tell your kids to be careful. "Gee Moe"is my YouTube channel if you want to check out my first Test Flight.

Updated after replacement recieved. Happy with this HS700D Drone.

The replacement HS700D works as it should. Has good flight time...better than the HS700, It flies smoother with the controls, The functions work follow me, waypoint....The video is better than the old one and the camera being able to move it great. It will go high and long. Have not maxed them out but have taken it on a 560 to 580 meter run with no loss in FPV signal just a little lag to it.

Best drone for the money

I have bought many small drones over the last few years and the hs700 is the best so far. The range is good for being a WiFi connection. Battery life is great I am getting 12-15 minutes per flight. Camera is good but a 2 or 3 axis gimbal would be great
