I like the drone a lot, flew great I need to calibrate it because it was doing some drifting in the air but overall I am very satisfied with this drone, I love the fact that you can move the camera I think that is the coolest part of the drone. I so far love all the holy stone drones and recommend them to anyone that loves drones!!

If your looking for a drone with absolutely amazing features and easy to operate look no further! If you are like me you probably have looked at a lot of drones and read so many reviews about how great they are . I’ve done so much research when I went to purchase my first drone and honestly I wasn’t sure but after a week I went with the HS700. I can’t say enough amazing things about it so when Holy Stone releases the HS700d I had to buy it and again I have been blown away ! Like most people I just wanted the most bang for my buck and let me tell you I have been stop by several people who have spent way more on their drone and when they seen the HS700d fly along side other top drones the owners tell me they wish they went with Holy Stone instead. The performance of HS700d drone is by far the number 1 drone on the market and at an amazing price! In my review photos you will see my first drone White HS700 and my new drone Grey HS700d . Both are amazing drones. The reason I posted both pictures is to show you I stand by my review and Holy Stone. I will only buy Holy Stone drones! Let’s not forget about THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SALES DEPARTMENTS Who are OUTSTANDING (4 stars AAA service.) You get real people on the phone and will help you with any questions you might have !! I pulled the trigger and spent a little bit more on a drone to finally upgrade from the toys I have bought in the past. My daughter wanted a drone at Christmas and we got her a holystone. It was very easy to fly and was even stable enough for a 8 year old to learn on. Since then my other daughter wanted one, so we had a second.
Teaching them was a blast so I wanted one of my own, and now felt confident enough to not destroy one on it's first flight!
UPDATE!: Could not get Ophelia GPS app to connect/controlPxel3 (Android 9)

I'm updating this review from a 3 to a 5!
First, Holy Stone customer service is unbelievable! After my first review, they reached out to me to ask if I was interested in trying the HS700D again, to see if the Pixel3 problem was the phone or Ophelia. 4 days later, a new HS700D arrived!!! No pressure, no requests for me to update my review, just super customer service.
I have flown the new HS700D several times. The Ophelia GPS APP (v3.0) still doen't connect with the Pixel3 (the phone does). I did download Ophelia to my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. It works! I've been able to try most of the features with the APP.
I'm going to continue to email customer support to try to resolve the Pixel3 problem.
Also, it is a very hardy drone! Today I was again trying to explore features of the Ophelia APP with the Galaxy Tab. It does not have Cell capablity - and there is no wifi at the flight location. So at home, I started the APP, not connected to the drone. I zoomed/moved the map to display the location I was going to fly, and displayed map and satelite images. I was hoping they would be downloaded for later. It did. at the new location I started a 'Tapfly'. I was playing, not flying, the drone hit and hung up in a tree! It was still trying to fly. Thinking all was lost, I tried 'up/down/left/right', It was in the tree for over a minute, buzzing.. then it broke free and fell half way down, when it recovered - by itself! It then continued to the location I had downloaded with Tapfly. I took over and manually returned it, landed it, and had a beer. All 4 propeller guards are still in the tree - which is what saved the day. The HS100 uses screws to attach the guards; the HS700D guards pop on and pop off.

I spent over 2 weeks trying to get the phone app to work, lot of emails between me and Holy Stone .
.Very nice drone. I upgraded from a Holy Stone GPS FPV RC Drone HS100. .The drone is smaller, better built and much simpler to assemble. .The manual needs some work. .The drone requires manual calibration every power up. .The leds, which guide you during calibration, are very hard to see during the day with the drone on the ground. .Flying with controller is easy. .The drone is very fast and stable in 'windy' conditions. .When in hover, it is very stable. Videos to are stored on sd card as mp4.
For my application, over water, not getting Ophelia phone app was a no go. Returned to Amazon.
Love this Drone from HolyStone, nice job HolyStone....

The Holystone HS700D Drone , (the new Grey One), I think it will satisfy your needs with room to spare. Being the owner of the previous Holystone HS700 (black one), I can honesty say that while the first HS700 was a top of line fun to fly Drone loaded with features, THIS one is better! First, now you have the updated 2K camera that takes incredible pictures from far and wide, and 90 degree adjustment up and down controlled by transmitter, and is even better than 1080P photos. You will see what I am talking about if you purchase one and shoot some pictures. Also improved is the flight time of 22 minutes, was 20 minutes before, not much, but every little bit helps. It has Live Video Range of 1300 ft. (that's a long way folks, straight up), plus Max Control Range of 3280 ft. (if you can still see it), and last but not least has the powerful and I mean powerful 1500KV Brushless Motors. Of course it has follow me mode, , previous model standard features like GPS Assisted Flight, Custom Flight & Points of Interest, Follow me mode, RTH (return to home), and one button take off and return and some other goodies to make your flight smooth and trouble free. I really don't know what else they could have put on the drone to make it better. This is a fantastic Drone,,handles very well , easy to fly,,in light wind, and the build quality and engineering of this Drone is outstanding to say the least. A good plus on this one I think is it now has prop guards for those little pilot mishaps and also safety. The takes offs are very easy, due to the one button take off feature where after pushing the button , it will lift straight up to around 7 or 8 feet and just hover there till you tell it to do otherwise, also you can push the one take off button again while it is hovering and it will return to the starting point and land very softly. The battery charging time is 5-7 hours, no change from previous model, but it now comes with a dual charger so as to charge two batteries at the same time, if you purchase a extra battery pack which I recommend. As far as easy to fly,,this drone could not be easier for beginners or experienced fliers. This model has slightly larger motors and slightly larger props if you take a good look. Let me finish by saying that this company Holystone, has always taken care of any problem or concern that I may have and their customer service is outstanding in my opinion, talk to Selina for any concerns or questions, she is a very knowledgeable and helpful person to deal with. Sooo, quit reading this review and go out and buy one!!!!!!!!!!!!! All this for less than 300.00, Took some pictures and one video,,not too good today was pretty day but a little on the windy side, hope to do better next time...Am really impressed with the camera on this Drone, great pictures,,notice Blue Ridge mountains in the back ground on some of the pictures,,,here in Virginia... I don’t even know where to start from. When I first laid eyes on the HS700D I, instantly fell in love. For the price, this drone exceeded my expectations. Comes packed with very good care. It has too many features to mention them all but my favorite is The 2K camera. It gives a panoramic view and high-quality FPV real time video over 1300FT, With built in GPS and headless mode. Controls are pretty easy to learn. It’s a pretty stable flyer and you can control the angle of the camera. I'm blown away by it.
