Great drone with great features!!

This is a great drone for the price and what it can do!! It takes great 2k photos and love the new camera that can look straight ahead and then be controlled in flight to angle down for great vids or pics. The drone flies great and really moves and easy to fly. I have let many friends and family try that never have used it and where flying minutes without any help. If you want something built with quality and not spend too much this drone will do the trick!! Hopefully they can maybe put a gimbal to hold the camera more steady for the next model. Other than that I love it!!

The HS 700d is a great drone, seems sturdy built, this is my first drone that I have owned .The return to home and the GPS are a great help.The camera takes great videos and pictures. Holy stone seems to be a good product. I would buy again. Well worth the money

Holy stone HS700D

This is the nicest drone I have seen. Unboxing it and how organized everything is was immediately surprising to how protected everything was. I always appreciate the extra blades. The battery charger has 2 spots to charge but they only send one battery so that seems like a hint to buy another.

Assembly was easy and feels solid. The battery is giving me a little trouble initially getting it to fit into the charger. I had to sort of go on an angle and “slide” into it horizontal (instructions show to push down vertically). I think it will get easier.

First flight - awesome! I did my due diligence reading the manual and played with the controller while the battery charged. It was a bit windy outside and this drone held strong. I went up to about 25m high and could tell it was windier up there. It held its own and was still maneuvering well. I do not see speed options on it but it moves quickly without adjustment.

The camera took some decent pictures. I used the orbit and the video came out good but suspect the wind had some involvement. The follow me did not work on my first try. I also did not know about the camera tilt wheel on the controller despite my efforts to read the manual. Everything works very well and is a very stable drone.

A few test drives later and it still impressed me. All the features are great. The drone feels solid still and not even any near crashes or any issues to report.

This drone is amazing! I love it. I also have the HS700. They look very similar except for the camera, but the 700D performs better. It has longer battery life, has better connection to your phone and controller, and is much more responsive. The camera is also tremendously better than the 700. It takes significantly better pictures and videos. This is a major step up from the 700. If you’re on the fence about this one, get it. You won’t be disappointed.

My only complaint about it is the controller. It is kind of bulky and I think it could be more compact in size. This does not in any way affect the drone at all though and I would still buy this again.

I like everything about this drone! The brushless motors, wider propellers, the higher resolution camera with 90° angle adjustable from the transmitter, the long flying distance and the on/off button on the drone. A GREAT COMBINATION!!! I have the HS700 also,and am very fond of it too. The primary difference in the HS700D and the HS700 is the camera and the on/off button. The HS700 doesn't have the on/off button and the 90° adjustable camera from the transmitter like the HS700D does. However the HS700 has a unique feature I do like a lot. The camera holder on the HS700 will accommodate my action camera. That is great for longer flying time,because the action camera uses its own battery, saving the drone battery for flying. Also the action camera has higher resolution pictures and video capabilities. As I said earlier, I have both drones and I'm glad I do. They make great companions to each other. Cathy at Holy Stone was a great help in buying, and in follow up questions for both drones. I highly recommend this HS700D drone. And the HS700 also. Great job Cathy, and you too Holy Stone! Keep up the good work!
