Nice improvements on the HS700D

Very much an evolution from the original HS700. I own that as well. The 2k camera and the motorized gimbal are 2 very welcome additions on the new HS700D. . The Battery life is longer. Longer props to me seem to balance this well built drone even more. The video and pics are crisp and clear. Adding a power button is also a welcome addition. Overall a very solid uograde from the original HS700. Thanks Holystone for another great drone. This one is definitely pushing the boundary beyond the toy grade label.

Great Drone for the Price

So far i have had this little drone for a couple days but have been really impressed. I lost my four year old Syma drone to the winds recently and decided to see what upgrade i could find. The loss of my drone was due to it did not having GPS return or any other feature that would have kept me from losing it. I researched several drones, and being on a budget, decided to give the Holy Stone HS700d a try. What difference! Compared to what i had is like upgrading from a mini van to a sports car. It is not complicated to set up but there are several steps you must take beforehand. This is due to pairing the drone to the transmitter and a couple of calibrations steps to ensure the GPS and wifi is online. Most impressive to me is that it has over twenty minutes of flight time and the precision moves you make with it. Once in the air it is fun to rotate the gimbal camera to a 90 degree angle and record the many views at this angle. Again another great feature is the return home function where you can press a button for it to return to you as well as it will return if the battery is low. I paid $140 for my original drone with few features like this. Technology has improved that much to provide a budget drone that competes with the higher price ones. Good job, Holy Stone!

Two words, “Amazing fun.” I’ve had some amazing fun with this drone. Definitely a steal for the quality and features. This is not one of those easy to break drones you’ll find on the market for this price. I was surprised at quality of the parts, the weight, and the size. It flys and handles flawlessly, cuts through the wind with ease. It’s got some power!! I let it hover directly over my head, wind felt like a large industrial fan. Camera is high quality pics and videos. And you don’t loose signal, I took it as far and as high it would go before safety features kicked in, and never lost signal once! Oh and yes, the safety features, bring the drone to its home(50 over takeoff spot) location when battery starts to reach low levels, but it will bring drone to 50ft to keep it from hitting objects. Multiple safety features that I don’t care to go into at the moment (lol), will allow you to fly this bad boy with confidence.

I love this drone. It's my first, and I had never used a drone before. I purchased it to take real estate photos, and so far I'm happy with the quality of the photos and ease of use. I just wish the camera was more configurable, such as being able to change ISO, shutter speed, etc and to be able to save the photos as RAW files. That being said, I'm happy with the quality of the photos as is.
The one key take off and landing feature is awesome. This makes it so easy for a newbie like me to get it off the ground and back down safely. Battery life seems good, but I wish Holy Stone had included a second with the drone.
Flying is easy. I got the handle of it fairly quickly, and the drone is very responsive. Also, as several reviewers have noted, this thing moves!
Since this is the only drone I've ever had any experience with I can't comment on how it compares to other more expensive brands and models, but so far it's definitely meeting my needs.

I have to say that this is my fifth drone/quadcopter. It’s a awesome add on to my collection. The range is perfect for what I use it for. Battery life is okay lasts about 15-20 minutes, not bad for fighting winds at 400ft. Charging does take awhile like 5 hours, to me that’s a bit much but some things you have to deal with. Very stable while hovering and the return home is a bonus when it goes out of site.. no more worries when it’s out of view and you lost your bearing way up in the sky. Follow me mode is cool and so is point of interest. Low battery return is awesome (had to use that a few times) Camera is good quality pictures and videos, it’s nice that I have the ability to adjust the camera angle compared to some others I’ve seen. The app is great shows everything you need to know about it while flying. I’ve recommended this to a few friends and people that see it while I’m using it.
