The HS700D is, by FAR, the BEST DRONE HolyStone produces that I have flown! So much thought was given to the make up of this drone that has made my flying experience so much more FUN with this drone! RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, it was so much simpler to assemble. No tiny screws to attach the props to the engines ... the props just clipped right onto the engine mounts. EASY. The camera was just as simple. "Plug and Play," so to speak. The directions were easy to follow, and the quick start guide had me up and ready for flight just as soon as the battery charged. After charging, I took my HS700D to a local park to fly. I had downloaded the Ophelia GPS app for the drone the previous day. After calibrating the gyro for the tx, I calibrated the compass on the drone, then linked to the Ophelia app on my iPhone. I used the one button take off feature to lift the drone, and gained an altitude of 358 feet above the park. There were some light winds which were NO problem for the HS700D! I flew out a total of 1,824 feet... no issues for the FPV... everything was smooth and easy! As I saw the drone above my head on it's return, I initiated the one button RTH feature and it landed just feet away from where it took off! I tested the "Follow Me" function and the "Point of Interest" function, and found them both to be easy to use and useful applications! What I love about the Ophelia GPS app for the HS700D drone is that it records your flight data...! Both Height and Distance are recorded for you and saved under the calendar day that you flew. One can also adjust flight parameters for the "Follow Me" and "Point of Interest" function. One can also set height and distance limits within the same app. The app is so easy to use... which makes more time for me to enjoy flying! The video I provided for this review shows the flight for height and distance I made mention of in this review... HOWEVER, I did not stop there! In fact, I took off again and again! The battery provided by HolyStone for the HS700D provided PLENTY of juice for flying. I timed the flight this day and I timed out at 21 minutes of NON STOP flying...! (I only stayed on the ground for less than thirty seconds before I took off again...) Have I mentioned the INCREDIBLE camera...? BEAUTIFUL wide angle shots and video with a full 90 degree rotation made for awesome camera shots and video! Overall... I feel the HolyStone HS700D is by far the BEST offer for your money! The GPS makes flying SO EASY that I could recommend this drone to beginners and young ones...! The iPhone app is easy to use, user friendly, and makes flying that much more exciting with all of the features that it comes with, such as Tap Fly, Point of Interest, Follow Me, Photos and Video recording, and even VR flying mode for those who have a head set screen. I love the fact that the app records my flight data, and allows me to adjust flight parameters. All of this might sound complicated to use, but you will be nicely surprised to find how simple HolyStone made all of these flying features to use! The best to you!

The Bearded Outdoorsman
This is a perfect entry level drone. Equipped with GPS, allows for much easier flying for beginners. I have had 2 very inexpensive drones in the past and they were very hard to fly. This drone has return to home, one key take off, one key landing, mapped route, follow me, headless mode, and a 2k camera. All of these features work flawlessly. My favorite feature of all is the one button take off/land. It takes the guess work out of landing. It took a bit for me to connect to GPS, but I live in a very rural area. The battery is the longest running battery I have seen. I was able to get 20+ minutes of flying. And with one switch on the remote, you can go to headless mode.
Battery not interchangeable with HS700,and are onbackorder 3 weeks at the moment.t.

Very well built,great camera,stable and responds well.I purchased this to move up to brushless motors and GPS.I have 4 other HOLY STONE drones, and like the customer support, and the reliability of their products.I have 3 flights so far(arrived yesterday),and everything functions as advertised. Prop guards snap on,but don't stay secure. USB battery charger very slow, and dedicated to only this model's battery.Hopefully there will be an upgrade.A great hobby drone for the price.

This is my 3rd Holy Stone Drone that I own. I am super pleased with the performance of this HS700D. I was not expecting anything high end for the price I paid. I am extremely surprised how well built this drone is. It's a very solid drone. Feels high end. And looks awesome!
This drone flying was a lot of fun. It flies very well and responds to all inputs nicely. It handles very smoothly.
The self takeoff and landing works as advertised.
The GPS follow me mode works very well. The phone app must be used for this feature.
Phone app is straightforward and easy to use. Just make sure to choose the drone in your phone wifi settings to be able communicate with drone.
You can either store the photos/videos on your phone or you can use an SD card that u would put into camera. I chose to store on my phone.
The camera is surprisingly super clear and very high resolution. The videos are very stable as the camera is on a stabilizer so it reduces vibration.
The drone arrived well packaged and was straightforward to setup.
The charging unit allows for 2 batteries to charge simultaneously and has charging status indicators.
I made sure to fully charge battery prior to first flight. Flight lasted 25 minutes approximately.
Overall this is a solid drone at a price that cant be beat. No complaints here.

Holy Stone really knocked it out of the park with drone. It has many of the features of the expensive drones at a fraction of the price. The 2K camera takes very nice pictures and video. This will easily become my favorite drone to fly. I would recommend this drone to anyone.

Lots of fun. Make sure to fly in an open area while you are getting a feel for it. Not hard, but takes a little while to get a hang of. Try headless mode out, makes the joysticks more intuitive. Can take still pictures or record videos. Lots of fun!
