While I am no drone pro, I have owned a few cheaper drone that I wouldn't worry about breaking. This drone is very easy to fly and with GPS and return home features, there isn't much fear of lost control. We have a pretty steady wind at mind place most of the day, and this drone can fight that wind with easy and remain stable while hovering in wind (3-5mph average wind speed on a good day). Picture and video quality seems pretty good for the price. My only complaint is that the phone holder is too small for my S20 Ultra. I think I'll have to dedicate a old phone for this drone.
Powerful and steady

Amazing drone at an amazing price. Very powerful. Remote adjustable camera. GPS, follow me, return home. And much more. 18 minutes of flight time, with a super smart battery. Can hold its own against the wind. So far this is my favorite drone. This drone can handle its own against the wind. I have to say I wish I would’ve invested in this mammoth along time ago. Compared to other models this is a Cadillac Deville. Slices thru the air like a KITANA & floats lighter than a feather. This drone will give a beginner the perfect quick efficient start in the drone world. I must say it’s an amazing machine.
HS270 (GPS): An Excellent Entry-Level Drone! (Update #1)

My original un-edited initial review appears below. After two flights, the remote transmitter began indicating low battery after only 10 minutes of use. Then, despite strong GPS and wifi indicators, the flight controls became extremely erratic. The drone would not hover and would circle in ever widening uncontrollable flight. I've used this only to provide aerial photographs of the construction progress on our new home (example attached). I really like everything about this drone and want to give it a second chance. Hopefully, I simply received a faulty unit and the replacement I've requested will prove to give reliable service. I'll update this review after testing out the replacement for a couple of weeks.
I just received my HS270 (GPS) yesterday and, after charging the drone and remote batteries, took it out for an initial test spin. My first impression is that I am VERY impressed with this unit.
Out of the box, the drone feels substantial and solid. It feels like a stable platform. Be sure to take an hour or so to read the instruction manual while waiting for the batteries to charge. The controls are not intuitive until you really familiarize yourself BEFORE you go flying! Run through the set up instructions carefully and follow the steps exactly. Once everything was fully charged I took it out for a test drive in a large, open field.
I only took it up to about 150 feet. Here are my initial pros and cons. The cons really are more like caveats.
PROS Great entry-level drone - much more than a toy Take-off is stable and controlled Auto hover is very reliable Joystick controls are responsive Video feed is constant Video recording is very nice GPS return is very cool
CONS/CAVEATS... Drone battery takes a long time to charge Only one drone battery is included This by not a toy, but it's NOT a high-end drone...don't expect it to fly like one It's relatively stable, but seems susceptible to slight winds. Battery on the remote begins flashing low level after about 10 minutes There's no apparent way to swap out the battery on the remote No battery charger No prop guards There's no included case, but the box itself serves as a nice storage case
I purchased this for a specific use: filming aerial views of the construction of our new home over the next several months. Based on my initial tests, I believe it will serve that purpose very well.
Awesome first time buy!

This is the first drone I’ve ever flown. After reading the manual it is pretty easy to set up and get it flying. It took around 30 mins from unboxing the drone to the first time it took off. I did softly wreck it into a cedar tree the first day, but it turned right back on and I flew it again right then. So it seems to be fairly well made because it took about a 5 foot drop. I’m definitely happy with it and if I decide to get a better drone in the future, I will be considering a holy stone as an option.
Easy to learn and control

I’ve used it to check my roof for issues, to play hide and seek with my daughter in a field, and even used it to look for deer on the back 40. Got some shots of Duluth harbor at night and the kids playing in the high waves at Wisconsin Point. Want something to train you AND use practically? This was the best for me.
