Our son received the HS270 drone for Christmas as an upgrade for his first beginner drone. He was so excited! He has already spent many hours outside learning how to fly and use all the features of his new drone. It took us a little while to set-up the drone to fly using the instructions, but that was because of our not being familiar with how the more advanced drones work. Once we figured out what we were doing it is was very easy the next time we flew the drone.

One of the first features our son wanted to learn was the "auto return home". He thinks it is so cool (and sometimes needed to get the drone back during his learning sessions). The drone has consistently landed within 2 feet of the take-off pad. The drone takes great pictures and videos. One use that dad has for the drone is to inspect the gutters on our house (2 stories) to check if they need cleaning. Once the weather warms up, the next feature we will investigate is "follow-me".

Based on our experience so far with this drone we would highly recommend it to anyone. It has demonstrated it is a high quality drone with great features. Once my son is ready to upgrade again we will definitely consider a Holy Stone drone.

I have owned multiple drones including DJI, but this as entry level drone cannot be beat. The controls are easy to use and intuitive. Had some initial issues but was interference from my house. Pictures look good at 2.7K and the ability to control the camera tilt in flight is an excellent option. The follow me functions work well. I recommend this drone.

Great drone for the price. Received this as a Christmas gift. I would consider this an intermediate drone. There's a little setup required before you fly the drone. These steps are important to calibrate the drone controls and gyroscope so make sure not to skip that. I wouldn't consider the camera 4k but for the price you can't beat it.
