This is our first drone. We are kind of lost. Not due to the drone itself but to our inability to understand how to make it work properly. It’s a great little drone! It takes really good pictures although we haven’t figured out how to use any of the other functions we did figure out the pictures pretty quick. Maybe when we are better at flying it we will get some better pictures. We’ve crashed it a few times and it took off on us a few times And it hasn’t broken not even a little propeller pieces of broken yet. Battery seems pretty good for a drone of this size. Overall really happy just still confused on making it work right but there are some YouTube videos using the model that we purchased. I will try to come back on and leave another review after we’ve taken the time to watch some of the YouTube instructional videos and gotten some more practice.

HolyStone HS 165 GPS. I Must of Crashed it 50 Times, Still Works Great. Just Had to Replace the Blades..I would Recommend it to all. The Camera Could be A Little better, but all in all it Works Great. S.R. Wisc.

I have tried a few drones, and have had a lack luster experience. Maybe it's my skill level, I don't know. But when I got Holy Stone H165, I was firstly blown away by it's build quality. It just felt sturdy. I charged up the batteries and took it out for it's first flight. Followed the compass & GPS setup to the letter. I then pressed the take off button after unlocking the blades, and just wow. It was mildly windy, but it hovered in place very well. I took it around my property and it was so responsive and steady, I can't imagine using one of my other drones now after this experience. It'd be like going from a Geo Metro to a Lexus. Would YOU want to go back? I would think not. The compass and GPS make SUCH A HUGE difference. The image quality is good when using my phone to record, but I will try SD card next time as some say it gets better that way. The auto land function works as expected (and lands real soft, then turns off). The return to home function brought it back from about 75 yards away to within 2 feet of it's exact launch location.
If your looking for a drone that just works, and is easy and a joy to fly, this should definitely be something to look into.

Easy to learn for a first time. Was very impressed with quality for the price paid. I have flown it quite a few times already and holds up great even with a few mishaps. I have already recomend to friends that are looking at getting a beginner drone.
