I am completely wowed by this drone. I purchased a smaller, lighter beginner drone which experienced a fly away during a slight 6mph wind a few days ago. I instantly went drone shopping for something a little heftier that could take on a little crosswind, as well as a better camera, follow-me mode, and that could actually hover instead of drift around aimlessly. I did my research and came across this gem. I took a chance, and it fulfills everything above, and more! Today I flew it with a 12mph crosswind and saw no erratic movement whatsoever in this HS270. Flight time was around 14 minutes while using the camera, it’s bigger than most other entry level drones due to the battery, but this is something I actually wanted. Controls are ultra responsive, and the drone doesn’t allow you to over correct, it compensates for really quick movement without over flaring when coming to a sudden direction change. Check out the video, and photos to see the camera is pretty good for what you pay for, and both the controller, and battery can be charged using any micro-usb cable (one is included in packaging). At no point was I worried about losing control if I went a reasonable distance away, or the wind carrying it off to Oz. If you’re just getting into the drone game like myself, this is a good starter investment platform to learn on without much to lose. You’re getting the performance of a 400-500 drone for roughly a quarter of those numbers!
