When I 1st opened this drone I was impressed with the way it was built as the drone does not feel like a cheap thin plastic molded drone. I actually was very concerned about how you would get the 18 minute flight time as heavy as it was. This drone surpassed all of my expectations and then some...Drone feels and responses very well to commands. The few times I have been able to fly it the drone has been great as it cuts thru the wind like no other drone I have bought from HS.

This thing is a blast to fly, it only has a gimble that adjust up and down but I feel like it's the perfect step up from the small drones, it has a pretty good flight distance and the battery isn't bad but only lasts around 20 minutes so I'd suggest getting extras as you will want to fly more once you get it in the air. The camera is pretty good and the video is more stable then I would have expected.all of this paired with Holystone's awesome customer service (Especially Una) makes it a no brainer

This is a great drone and finally has 4K and also much more compact with the folding arms. I can really tell the difference with the upgraded 4K from 2k!! Flying this drone is easy and smooth!! I was at the beach and the wind was pretty bad and it maintaining the entire time!! Only thing is not having brushless motor. Not a deal breaker at all but that would be nice. Love it and got some awesome pics and vids that I show friends and family from an awesome aerial view I never could have done without this!!

The HS270 has officially become my all time favorite drone. This drone comes packed with care and very nicely organized. It’s equipped with GPS positioning, which means if it loses signal or power, it will fly back to the take-off point automatically with just a push of a button. You can even customize your own flight path. The 4K camera takes stunning clear pictures. Best of all, you can actually control the angle of the camera to take breathtaking shots. I would give this HS270 two thumbs up and a 5 star rating based on performance, features and 4K camera.

This Holy Stone drone is wider and more stable than other drones I have tried. Especially if it’s a little windy the width of the arms helps keep it upright when it lands. The sound is also a little quieter and not as high pitched as I had expected. I am having an absolute BLAST flying this drone, pushing the takeoff button launches it confidently and then it holds a rock stable hover awaiting your command. The GPS acquired quickly and judging how well it stays in one place works even in some wind, works very well. The app is very easy to use also it is so fun seeing the live view from the camera while you are flying. The dark color and lights make it very easy to see in the sky, the folding arms and propellers are a great feature, I feel l am going to take this drone more places because of how compact it is when folded up. The HS270 feels very sturdy and well constructed. If you are thinking about getting a drone you can fly outside confidently, this is it. The camera is excellent also, I was surprised how well it adjusted to changing lighting. I was flying early in the morning in the video I attached and the colors were still good when I turned near the sun. I would recommend this drone to anyone who wants to get into this hobby. I have handled some of the smaller drones in this price range that feel like they are bending and flexing pieces when you pick them up, the body and arms of this drone are solid. The controller also feels very good in your hands. I have the iPhone XS Max and the bracket expanded easily to fit it above the controller.

The video is of my first flight with the HS270. It is short, but not bad I think for the first one. I only show my first flight because it shows me as a beginner. I have gotten better and more confident quickly.

You can easily read about all the features elsewhere. I am only going to point out what I really like and don't care for.

First off, I love the GPS. I really feel like it makes the flying easier and safer. It makes me comfortable to take my eyes off the drone for several seconds while it is hovering and have it stay where I last saw it. It is the must have to really make everything else work well.

I really like the flight time and flight range on this thing. It lets me fly a really reasonable amount of time. The range allows me to fly a lot farther away than I am brave enough to do, so far.

It is really cool that you can adjust the camera angle while in flight. You can be recording while you fly up to something and then shift the camera to look down on it. The camera is pretty cool too. The pictures and videos are crisp and clear.

I am NOT in love with the steps that are required to set up to fly. I had to make a "cheat sheet" to be able to remember the steps. I am sure I will remember them after doing them several times, but it will take me some time, I am sure. This may be common for a GPS drone, but I would like it to be fewer steps. Even so, I can do it in a couple of minutes.

I am intrigued by the custom flight path capability. I have not tried that yet, but I will after I have gotten more capable. It sounds awesome.

My feelings are torn about the transmitter. It is nice for it to be so compact, but the labeling could be improved. The transmitter is black in color and the printing is either a dull gray, blue, or red. It is difficult to read. I practiced finding things before I went out to fly the first time.

Overall, I really like the drone and the way it flies. I did a lot of reading before choosing it. It seemed to have a great set of capabilities compared to similarly priced ones. Also, Holy Stone seemed to have a very good reputation. After having it now, I am very pleased. Looking at all the factors, I think I made the right decision.
