Sturdy and great Video Signal.

Update: Read my experience flying in orbit mode at the end of this review.
I'm new to flying drones with less than 2 months experience. After having an unfortunate accident with my first (cheaper, lower quality) drone, I purchased the HS270 because I liked the specs on the description and the great reviews on Holy Stone's customer service. The FPV (First Person View) range is the first thing that caught my attention and it did not disappoint.
My first impressions of the drone were great. It looks and feels sturdy. I like the fact that you can fold the arms and is easy to carry and store. It is easy to fly and very responsive. The follow me mode worked great and the return to home feature missed the take off spot by about a foot after flying a distance of 400 meters (1312ft.) away which is impressive.
As you can see on the video and flight record image (3rd item down) I was able to fly the drone to 403m with hardly any issues on the FPV video signal. It seems it could have gone farther but that's the longest distance the app allows which is enough for me for the price. The video quality is great straight from the phone. You can control the camera in mid flight from the horizon to almost straight down. The drone does have an SD card slot but does not include the card.
The battery took 5.5 hrs. to charge and it did give me about 18 minutes flight time. This definitely means I'm going to need extra batteries. Also it takes some getting used to to remove it from the drone, especially if you have small hands. I like the LEDs that show you how much charge the battery has, and you don't need a specific charger just a micro USB cable which is included.
Another plus is the controller, which also has some folding parts for easy storage and can be recharged with a micro USB cable.
After I get a couple of extra batteries to extend my flight time I'll be a very happy pilot!
ORBIT MODE UPDATE: I did not find how to orbit around a point of interest in the manual. I figured out how to do it and it worked for me. This is what I did but might not work for you. If you decide to try it do so at your own discretion and your own risk: 1) I flew the drone to hover over my point of interest. 2) I Pressed the photo and video buttons on the controller at the same time (this sets that position as the center of the circle and the drone lights start flasing.) 3) Then I flew the drone to the position I wanted to be the outside of the circle and pressed the photo and video buttons on the controller again to set that position. At this point the drone started orbiting around my selected center point and I just had to adjust the camera angle to center the image. I MADE SURE AIR SPACE WAS CLEAR OF OBSTACLES AROUND THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE CIRCLE. 4) To exit this mode I pressed the photo And video buttons on the controller one more time.
