After many hours of researching the internet for the best micro drone, I ended up with this one. It has surpassed my expectations. I feel like a kid at Christmas. I also tried to find a good travel case for this and couldn't find a drone specific one that would fit all of the components so instead I used this GoPro case would you can see in my photo. Awesome little drone! Altitude hold works great! Very stable and easy to fly. Perfect for beginners and the extra batteries are a plus, with a good 5 - 6min. Flight time each. A must have for all drone owners! You can also modify the battery compartment for bigger 260mah battery as shown, like the eachines.

So much fun!

This drone is a blast! I love the the fact that I can use it indoors. My pups love chasing it around the yard and around the house. One thing, an on/off switch on the drone would be a plus.

I originally ordered the HS210 Night Elf for my 7-year-old son. It's kinda "ours" now though instead of "his". As the proud owner of a couple other Holy Stone drones (the HS100 & HS160), I was already familiar with the incredible quality, value and customer service this company offers through their products. When I saw this micro-drone, I figured it would be the perfect addition to the arsenal and I was right! Straight out of the box, my son had no problem doing everything by himself from charging, to installing one of the 3 included batteries, and then pairing the remote. NOW THE FUN PART- THE FLYING! We have used this strictly indoors. One touch lift off and the drone will hover. (With ceiling fans the flight will be affected a bit, but we find this fun and an extra challenge!) Super easy to control with silky steering and you can't help but to have a smile on your face when playing with this. I always thought "micro drones" were for kids only, but in all seriousness, I use this just as much as he does! If you enjoy seeing things fly while having ultimate control over how they perform, this Night Elf is as easy to control than the larger drones! My son has bounced it off plenty of walls and even after crashes it still functions perfectly, whereas a previous mini-drone he had previously basically snapped in 2 after a similar crash! We've only been flying drones for a bit over a year, but getting our start with the easy to use HS drones turned us from "beginners" to pros in no time. If you're looking for a great micro drone, this is the one!

Don't buy the Cheerson CX-10a, buy the Holy Stone hands down

So I've burned through a couple of Cheerson CX-10a drones. They are fun and a bit cheaper than this one but they just don't last, even with propeller guards. The Cheerson is also not the easiest to fly for my little kids. The Holy Stone is such a better drone - altitude hold actually works, the 3 flying modes are awesome and this little guy really cooks. Battery life is great and it comes with three - way better value than any other micro drone I've had in the past. I'll be picking up another one for sure.
