Great little drone, banana for scale

I bought this drone for my 5 year old son to learn how to fly. I chose this model because it’s advertised as for beginners and design of the protected fan blades, meaning safer for him and my furniture.

The batteries last about 7 minutes each as advertised. The controller is very well-built and feels like quality. My 5 year old learned how to operate it within a handful of tries. The drone itself is very lightweight but feels a little flimsy. Time will tell how durable it is, but so far I am very happy with this purchase. It’s fun for adults too!

I got this from Holy Stone in lieu of their free battery offer for my Hs510. Opened it up and charged the batteries and was flying in seconds! The cats and I been playing all morning. Great beginners drone, easy to fly! I think I’m going to save this one for the grand kids and probably order a couple more. Even the wife got a kick out of the flip!

This drone is a lot of fun. Coming with three batteries is a huge bonus to extend your flight times as well as the dual battery charger is a nice feature. Unlike other 'toy' grade drones this one has gyro calibration which makes it a very stable flier. Consult the instructions for proper calibration and pre-flight checklist.

Keep in mind that this is a micro drone that while stable will tend to drift SLIGHTLY when hovering. I have not flown it outside but with the 3 speeds I think that it will handle outdoor flight well aside from windy days. The propeller surrounds do a nice job keeping it from marking the walls, damaging the props or ending the flight.

The only wish would be that it came with a small case to keep everything together. Being a micro drone it's easy to lose as well as it's peripherals so having a case like the HS510 comes with would have been nice.

I would recommend this drone for anyone looking to have a fun drone to practice flying or learning to fly.

I just purchased the amazing mini drone and I'd have to say this is the best one I've ever had. The set up and pairing with the remote is seamless. Do take the time to read the manual so you don't crash your drone. I have some experience with drones so I was extremely comfortable flying it around the house. It handles like butter!!! Very smooth. The hover and automatic landing features are quite impressive. If you are a beginner looking for a fun drone that is easy on your pocket book, the HS210 is it!!

Best Beginner Drone for the Money

I have had this drone for over a year now. My son is the one who primarily uses it and it is perfect for him. The hover feature works great as a novice because he can focus on directional input instead of trying to maintain altitude while flying. The wrap around blade guards work perfect for not going through blades as he crashes it every time. The only thing of note is to ensure every time you crash to put it on a flat surface and calibrate the gyro. This makes flight much more stable and removes the need to trim. Would recommend and buy again for sure.
