The HS210 are great little 1s micro drones, kids love em, adults too. Great for indoors and outdoors when the wind is calm.
Wish the flight time was longer, but hey it comes with 3 batteries and charge time is about 20 minutes with a 2A charger

Fun for Kids and Adults Alike!

We researched for drones for our kids and purposely ordered this one because of its small size. We did not want them to fly it outdoors and so this was perfect for indoor flight. My kids both learned how to fly the drone in less than 5 minutes, a kid as young as 5 should be able to fly it. They really like to play with it and so do we (the parents). It's the coolest thing and we're impressed that it has so much flying power. There's 3 speed modes and the fast mode flies so fast, you would think it's a hummingbird! The only thing we would like as an enhancement is an easier way to remove the battery pack for replacement.

The Holystone HS210 is the superior beginner drone in the same class as the H36 and the F36. The ease of binding and one button take off make the experience of learning to fly less stressful to the novice flyer. The altitude hold allows the beginner the opportunity to learn the controller at an easier pace. The flips are extremely sharp. Having three speeds separates it from the others in it's price range. If you are new to the drone world or want to give an affordable superior drone as a gift the HS210 is the one!

This drone is a blast to fly. After reviewing the instructions, I popped one of the 3 pre-charged batteries into the drone and and started flying it. The controls are very easy to use once you get used to them. The three different speed settings are great. On speed 3 (the fastest) it is essential to be very careful, because the drone is very fast and the controls are sensitive. Speed 1 is what should be used for a beginner who is getting used to flying drones. I love how the done has altitude hold, so that when you do not press any buttons it does not move very much. I think this is a great beginner and intermediate drone. It is very forgiving in that, if you bump into a wall of other obstacle, there are guards surrounding the propellers so that they do not get damaged. Take the time to read the directions and you will likely be very happy with this drone.

The transmitter is reminiscent of a xbox controller which should make new pilots more comfortable. The controls are labeled well on the transmitter and the drone responds well to it. Altitude hold works as advertised as does the "flip" functionality. Clicking the speed button allows for increasing/decreasing the speed of the drone. The take off/landing button also works as expected.

It's on the lighter side so when using it outdoors you should expect to be impacted by wind. Meaning the altitude hold will still work but not as well as it would if you were indoors.

The inclusion of 3 batteries is nice because they last about 5-7 minutes each. There are two chargers included but you need to either have an AC adapter or a device you can plug the chargers into. Including an AC adapter would have been a nice touch. Also included are some spare parts (extra props) and tools to remove/install them.

With so many small parts to keep up with it would have been nice to have a bag of some sort to keep everything together between flights. But it's tough to hold that against Holy Stone given how much that is included at this pretty reasonable price.

At such a low cost this is definitely a great place to start off if you're looking for a first drone. And if you're looking for something that a kid could operate this is going to also fit the bill.

I've owned several drones over the years, all of which were astronomically more expensive than this HS210. This drone is the lightest, most agile, and easy to operate drone I've ever owned. It zips around the room with little experience required from the pilot. With three batteries and two chargers included in the package, it provides plenty of entertaining flight time for me and my kids. If you've been interested in drones but scared off by the high price tags, this is the drone for you.
