This was easy to get set up and get flying. You will want to follow the instructions step by step to ensure a good flight, but they're easy to follow. The camera is pretty high quality for this price range. I'm not the best operator, but this has been the easiest drone I've tried. (The unsteadiness in my video is my amateur flying, not the camera.) I was able to take off and land without those 'first timer crashes.' It's pretty stable in a small amount of wind too. It wasn't easily blown off course or out of my control.
The app made it easy to connect to my phone. I continue to experiment with each of the features and am having fun with each new thing I try - tracking, auto land, etc. Give it a try!
HS12D - Full Featured GPS Drone

The HS120D is a full function GPS drone. It is not a drone for beginners. At 219 grams, it is below the weight of 249 grams where a drone is required to be registered. I would not fly it indoors as the propellers are quite powerful and could damage furniture, pictures, etc. I practice indoors with the HS370, which is much smaller, and has a lot of neat features to learn too. Crashes with it do not hurt things indoors, like a large drone would do. Both the HS120D and the HS370 have great apps for phones. The HS120D app is great for confirming GPS connectivity, which is required for any of the "Return to Home" features - One Button Command RTH, Automatic Low Power RTH, and Loss of Transmitter RTH. When outdoors, I always fly it in GPS mode. There is an icon in the app's control screen that confirms GPS acquisition. The drone lights, when in the sunshine, are not as easy to confirm GPS acquisition. The drone's app also has a banner at the bottom of the control screen that says when the drone is ready to fly. The drone is powerful enough to maintain hover even with 5-8 mph winds. Both the HS120D and HS370 take video and pictures, and have the headless mode option. The HS120D comes with a carrying case, two batteries, transmitter, and charging hub. It is a great deal for the price. It also has Youtube videos explaining the features of the drone and transmitter, which are very informative.
Solid drone

This is a solid drone that's not to difficult to fly. It does take some time calibrating and setting up, which was a little confusing, but once you learn it, it's easy to do again. The second battery is handy. As other users have mentioned, we can't get video to work with our Android phones. This needs to be fixed in the future for sure. But it's still fun to learn with it and fly it around.

Easy step by step instructions make this drone easy to fly. This bird as everything the Sellers indicated, including great optics, and responsive controls. Great drone for use in optic situations where you need clear pics with HD. Highly recommend the drone and the sellers both Amazon and Holystone. The drone is good flys well it's easy to control but having other drones I see a few faults First the batteries are really hard to get out really hard Second the charge cradle has only about a foot of cord which is very bad 3rd the way the batteries are made there is no way to hook them to a balance charger or put them in storage mode Very bad for lipo batteries
