First time drone owner

As a first time drone owner, I didn't know what to expect. Reviews for this Holy Stone HS120D drone were pretty good. After only a day reading up on the instructions, manual, and the free app, I took it outside to try. Pretty impressed from the first flight. Lots of features but fairly simple to operate. Looking forward to getting it out again in a larger area and trying more functions. So far so good, especially for the price.

I like how easy the unit is to setup. Sometimes the remote works a bit slow. I wish the camera had a higher resolution and better video. Overall a good drone.

I was finally contacted by the company and will be working with them to get me in the air, one way or another. So far I have not been able to get GPS working and it's probably a minor problem within the drone. The short fly I did get was easy to control but would wish it worked fully and all the buttons were operational. What I've been able to work with, it's fun to fly with the limited controls. I like the drone and just wished it worked fully. The drone is well built and should last a long time. The company has reached out to me to correct any problems I may have with them and the drone. I welcome that and look forward to getting things right. They have reached out to me to make things right with me and the drone.

I've only had "toy" drones before and they are impossible to fly (for me). This one has so many automatic settings that it's easy to get started. It has an auto take off an auto land button when pushed the drone comes up about 5 feet and hovers. It will land just as easily. It's taking me a while to master flying the drone but I'm not worried about crashing it (again). Yes i crashed it but it seems to be working fine anyway. it came with 2 batteries and a charger that charges them both at the same time. Also, it has a phone app that works pretty good. The instruction about getting started are pretty clear. I just wish there was more of an tutorial on how the parts work. I look forward to learning more. The photo is from the SD card that i inserted into the back of the camera on the drone. It was during the evening so its a little dark but it's a good representation.

I bought this for my husband who has never flown a drone before and it was very easy to learn how to fly. It has a descent quality camera and the battery last longer than I expected. This was definitely a good purchase, we are very happy with the product.

Great for beginners

Great for beginners. I had a issue with the first one. Kept disconnecting from my phone. The second one was better. You get what you pay for. Great to learn on not high quality videos from a distance but great for the price.
