Holy Stone tech support has been outstanding. When I email a question, they always answer the next day, and the answer indicates that they understood my question.

Solid drone and good price

I liked how solid this drone was in the air and the responsiveness. The case is very nice too. I didn't like the app that had to be restarted and reconnected to WiFi so the camera will display for taking pictures and other options and meter displays. Overall very nice drone.

Great beginner drone!

This is a great drone that provides a good introduction into drone flying and lets you do many of the things you want to do --- fly, move, take video, and take photos. It is easy to learn and comes ready to fly practically right out of the case. Holy Stone provides good support and many instructional videos on YouTube. I like it, and I am learning more as I use it more often.

This is a great drone, fantastic deal at this cost! Easy to learn for a beginner, whether as an adult or even easy operation for my sons 6-9 years old. Very good camera for this cost, easy to use buttons to take pictures and videos with one click right on the remote control itself. Comes with beginner settings so it will only go 30 meters in any direction then stop. Can change that on the app to be a much further distance. Love this product!

Excellent beginner drone

This is my first drone ever and probably the first remote control anything that I have used in the last 20 years. I read several reviews both on Amazon and YouTube including many video reviews before making my purchase.
I throughly read through the directions upon arrival and I went through the tutorial on the app before flight. I can say after about 3 flights I was comfortable enough to take off beginner mode so I could go further out.
I am using an android phone (Samsung Note 10) with the remote. I was confused after I connected to the drone wi-fi nothing was happening. I had to go in to the drone app and click controls. (I have not seen this in the directions or on the drone app). That then allowed the camera on the drone to appear on my phone. I was reading it as once you're connected that would automatically come on. Maybe other OS do but not on my phone. From there I highly suggest you are outdoors, in an open area, and the wind is calm. My first flight I had some wind but if you can help it it's much easier to figure out the controls when there is no breeze. I've included 2 photos. This is only 40 meters up and I could make out Battleship Cove across the Taunton River in Fall River, MA. The second photo is the current app I am using, note the controls button you will need to calibrate and start your flight. Also helpful is the learn to fly.
The reason for the 4 stars on the remote is that I ran in to having my remote fully charged but reporting that it was low. I had to turn off the drone, restarted my phone and once everything was connected again it worked fine. Hoping that was just a glitch but like most electronic issues, shut down & reboot worked that time.
I've had a few bumps and bruises along the way and I haven't had to replace anything just yet. So it is a durable drone, especially for anyone like me just starting out. This drone will keep me entertained for awhile. Maybe in the future something with a sharper camera for photography and video is something I'd consider but not until I feel ready for that kind of investment and I need to master this skill first.
