I have a hs1oo that I have enjoyed so when I saw the hs700 with some of the same features I baught one to see.I was not disappointed.I like the longer flight time but would like to see a way to power it on other than placing the battery in pplace. Bottem line this drone is well worth the price

So >_> after playing with the Holy Stone HS200D FPV RC Drone for a while I felt I can step up a little more to have a real Pro drone like a video game character upgrade his gear (Sounds very nerdy I know >_>) So what I really want from the pro drone is not just the video and picture quality but also the function to automatic following me! When I told my son I got a drone that can automatic following us he was like "WHAT!? like the sifi movie we saw on TV?" lol So of course after we got the drone we went to the field and tested the "follow me" function" IT IS FUN! it really followed me lol It will makes a safe distance and track your phone's location. In the video about 1:20 I put down the controller with phone on it the drone also lower the altitude. The video is kind of boring since this is my first tried but next time I am planning to play soccer with my son and make it record us :D

Holy Stones Flag Ship, worth every penny

I received my HS700 today. The drone is really awesome, good reason they call it Holy Stones flag ship.The controller is very ergonomic and fill nice in your hands and with every button marked.There is a LCD screen on the controller with a glance it will tell you most important stats, like battery life, how high and far away from you, how many satellites you are connected to.the drone fills well belt not that plastic fill to it . The GPS works great , keep the drone stable even in 9 mile hour winds and if you lose contact with the drone or low battery life the drone will return home. The return home feature will take the drone up to 100 feet so it doesn’t hit any trees or anything on it’s way home. Landed about 2 feet from were it took off. The app interface work smooth and good as well. Only to things that they can improve are second battery with drone and a faster charger for charging the battery and a power switch on the drone so you don’t have to carry the battery separate from the drone, as it is once you put the battery in the drone turns on. Other then that this is going to be my second favorite drone next to my Mavic Air.

It does everything Holy Stone say's it does.

I'll start of with the drone flies great and is very smooth on take off and landing. The auto take off and land features works great, and if you use them the drone will last longer instead of crashing it while landing. The WiFi range they advertise is spot on, they say 400 meters, I flew out 391 meters before I ran out of park to fly in and the video was still great. It will easily and very quickly shoot up to 450 ft which is the legal altitude. All of the app features work as advertised and I tried them all. It takes 15 mins to get it ready to fly out of the box. The instructions are easy to understand and best of all everything worked just like it was supposed to. Me and my grandsons had a great time flying it.

I ordered the HS700 and on the first flight I almost lost it. The first low battery doesn't have an audible sound, so watch the drone battery level closely. It is supposed to return by its self. Be sure it does. If you are flying it out a long way, it would be wise to bring it in closer, before the first low battery warning, just to be sure it gets back home. Especially if it has to come in against a breeze. I believe the quality and style are great. The brushless motors are a nice improvement too. It seems that they will be dependable. I like the long range distance with the transmitter and WI-FI also. It is a very fast and swift moving drone. The camera is very nice, and the fact an action camera will work in it makes it even better. I have tried it with the action camera, and WOW!!! it is great! Great Job. Thank you, Holy Stone

Easy to use but you must follow instructions to calibrate each time you use it. Flies well on hover and also responds good manually. I don't like the feature that you must turn on the drone to see/download the pictures. You can't plug the micro SD card into your computer and download. As far as the apps I'm still learning. Couldn't get follow me to work so I will read over the app manual again. Overall I really like the HS700!
