Holy Stone's Best Drone yet, Great for photography

This is one of the best Holy Stone products you can get. I have tried there smaller drones as well as the bigger GPS drones but this one has basically everything. There are various modes including the follow-me, tap fly, and one where it orbits in a circle. The camera quality is great too and in daylight it is as good as some of the GoPro cameras. When it gets dark though the quality decreases slightly as it does in all cameras, but it is still very good quality. In my video I have EIS off but all the other camera settings are set to default. It flies pretty fast as well in the fast mode and flies almost 25 minutes per battery which is great. Much better than DJI spark and the other small DJI drones. Also, on your phone when you are flying, you can zoom into any spot on the camera which is pretty cool as well although it doesn't show up on the recording. Its amazing how much you get for the price honestly, including the case and the extra battery as well.
Updated version of the HS720

The Doctor
The HS720E is an updated version of the HS720. It is the new top of the line drone for Holy Stone. The most significant change is improvement of the camera. They upgraded the camera from a 2K to a 4K camera. There are several other more subtle changes which include: a change in the video format from AVI only in the HS720 to AVI plus MP4 in the HS720E. Also the camera in the HS720E has a 130° lens whereas in the HS 720 it was 110° lens. The transmission distance according to the manual is also slightly different. In the HS720, the manual states the transmission distance for the camera is 2624 feet to 3277 feet. But in the HS720E, the manuel states that the transmission distance of 1640 feet. The HS720E now has image stabilization. And just like the HS720, it has a gimbaled camera with 90° rotation which can be controlled from the remote control. A very important feature to get good pictures which the less expensive drones in their line do not have. Also the HS720E will take 120GB microSD card. Where as the maximum in HS720 was a 32 GB card. Two other differences is that the HS720E comes with two batteries giving you 46 minutes of flight time. The HS720 came with only one. Each battery will give you 26 minutes of flight time. And both drones have brushless motors, so you don't have to wait to let the motor cool down before putting the second battery in and continue flying. That's one benefit of brushless motors. You can change your batteries and keep flying. One other important difference is that the HS720E has "headless mode". [For some reason they left this off the HS720]. This is a very important feature especially for beginners. With" headless mode" you do not have to worry about which direction the drone is pointed. Pushing forward on joystick will always make the drone fly away from you. Pulling backwards will make the drone fly toward you no matter which way the drone is pointed. Without headless mode, you have to keep track of which way the drone is pointed because forward on the joystick will be forward in the direction the drone is actually pointed. But when the drone is far away from you, it's hard to see which way it is pointed. Headless mode makes flying much easier for the beginners. So as far as I'm concerned, "headless mode" is a must on any drone. It's a great feature. On the whole this is a really nice drone. And incidentally it weighs in at 455g. 5g less than the required weight to register with the FCC. Well done Holy Stone!. It has the other usual good features such as one key takeoff and landing, return to home, follow me mode, tap to fly, and point of interest. All in all, this is a really great drone with all the features you would ever want. It's well-built. It's well worth the price and a lot of fun to fly. Great for a beginner who wants a high end drone or an experience flyer and just as well. CORRECTION: In my video I stated that when you press the return to home button the drone will rise to 1000 feet if it's below this level or decend to 1000 feet if it's above this level. That was an error. The drone will rise to 100 feet if it's below this level or decend to 100 feet if it's above this level and then return to point of origin and then land.
Great inexpensive starter drone for beginners!!!

Holy Stone customer service rocks!!! After I crashed my very first drone into a wall (indoors) due to poor satellite signal (Initial Flight). I called Holy Stone and explained to them what happened and they replaced it with a brand new one without any hassle. The customer service representatives (via email) I encounters were very understanding and guaranteed me they would be able to help me. I was even able to keep the initial drone for spare parts. I took my HS720E (replacement) out for its maiden flight and I was impressed with how stable it was during the entire flight. I was able to fly this drone with little too no experience with flying drones. The battery life is about 23 minutes, which is more than enough for me. But I purchased spare batteries to extend my flight time. I recommend any new drone customers to try Holy Stone, you won't be disappointed.

HS has came a long way since the 720e, and I would have to say that the hs720e is the best they've done to this date. Though the drone may lack a true gimbal, its EIS stabilization works pretty well compared to their other models. Compared to competitor models, its no DJI tbh. It doesn't have the perfectly stabilized video due to gimbal, but if youre looking for something around that range of GPS drones but a tad cheaper and happen to stumble upon the 720e, then you might as well pull the trigger on it because this thing is a fun little machine and will serve you well!

Holystone hs 720e is a great buy. Very easy to set up and easy to fly. The picture quality was great and I didn’t notice and props is the videos I shot. This must have been fixed in this model. I have only had it for a short while but so far I am very impressed.
