Not bad but batteries don't last

Great first timer toy and the camera is awesome. I have two issues with it. One, the batteries only last about 10 min each. Two, the prop guards were wrong. It came with 3 of the same guards for one side and one for the other side. Should have been two for the left and two different ones for the right. So now I have one odd ball guard that doesn't look right. But at least it clips on. See photo. Notice the guard on the bottom right doesn't look right.

Update:
The manufacturer (Holy Stone) reached out to me and promptly sent me a new set of prop guards, now it looks normal. Thank you Holy Stone!

Good drone for a great price, lots of excellent additional features!

I loved this drone. It is very versatile, can be flown with or without a smartphone. Video or photo storage does not rely only on phone storage; you can insert an SD card and even use the drone as a handheld camera. The device itself has "photo", "video" buttons and a switch to turn on/off a flashlight. It has a lot of features i loved.

· The drone CAN be used as a powerbank using a USB port located in its tail.

· The built-in flashlight can be activated without the drone even being ON.

· SD card slot

· Can be piloted paired with a smartphone for FPV/realtime video feed; but can also be flown using the control pad only. Additionally using its mobile app, you can also fly it without even using the contol pad at all.

· The 2 batteries that come with it have a micro USB port to charge directly with the provided cable. I found this to be very handy.

Now, the video and photo quality are ok. The flight altitude is close to a 3 floor building max. It does not have an extremely long range. The stability could be better for sure. But the perks and features this drone has are a more important factor taking into consideration the price you can purchase this for.

I am unaware of the features that other drones around the same price (roughly 80 bucks/USD) have. For this price, I think you get a solid product. It's not high end, it's not a professional oriented device but rather a travel/fun drone with many extra perks.

Good stability for it not having GPS. Small. Compact. Controller easy to operate. Camera is very good. True full HD 1080p video and photo. A good entry level drone. Not fast on the top speed setting. Maybe 5 mph. Drone good for close proximity flying.

So far, disappointing. Just picket it up and was open, not clean and with grease stains. I was waiting for it, due to the nature of my job. Will give it a try, but no happy so far
