Great drone for the money!

So far we LOVE this drone. Great for the money with upgraded features like "return to home" (when loses connection w/remote or low battery) and "orbit" and "follow-me" (where you can set the drone to follow a subject! Too cool). The first time the battery ran low and the drone was "returning to home" (where we had turned it on to start flying) we were freaked out because we had walked a hundred yards or so from the initial takeoff and the drone just shot straight up and taking off (toward "home") and we thought for a quick moment it was going wild. LOL Really fun and fairly easy to learn. Video is with my 10yo controlling! Good for beginners! Only thing I would have liked was more detailed instructions on a few features and a way for the remote to hold a small tablet (versus a smart phone). Overall two thumbs way up! PS - The shipper was awesome as well!

I'm "outdoorsy" so this drone will be used for my outdoor endeavors: camping, cycling, bikepacking. This is also my first drone, so I'm a complete newbie at everything involved.

Pros:
Well packaged, and the included case is quite impressive.
Two batteries
Semi-intuitive layout and function of the remote.
Unboxing to flying in as quickly as the battery charges. (1.5 hrs about.)

Cons:
The app isn't the most user friendly, with a lot going on all over the screen.
The included charger holds 2 batteries, but only charges one at a time.
Loud warning beep when the drone battery gets to 50%. I understand why it does it, but at 50%? No way to silence it either.

All-in-all, a fun little drone that takes decent pics and video, with a pretty good price point.

I didn't purchase this drone from Amazon, but would like to share my experience:

Pros:
-Price
- Auto return home
- Follow me and circle me
- Brushless motors
- Less then 250g, no need to register with FAA

Cons:
- Camera needs to be adjusted manually
- Videos can be shaky with more than 10 mph wind.

All in all it's a great drone for its price.

This is my first drone and I am impressed how easy was to fly it. Great quality, well built and nice carrying bag.
Love the camera, great pictures and videos. The return to home and low battery landing is amazing.
I would definitely buy a Holy Stone drone again.

This is my first drone, so I wanted one that was easy to fly, easy to transport, and took great pics. This one does all three and didn't cost a bunch. I did watch a couple of YouTube videos before buying this one, so I had some idea of what to do with it, but it's really easy to fly. The first flight was in a lot of wind. Not ideal, but it was Christmas day and I was excited and didn't want to wait. Even in the wind it held it's position really well. The next flight was it almost zero wind, and it hovered in place like it was on a pedestal. Impressive. Photos are really good too. I have tried out all of the other features, like Return to Home or pre-mapping a flight path, but I'm already thrilled with this little drone.
