It'd be great if it had 3 axis gimbal!
Flies over 300 ft up and away and comes back in fail safe mode or return home command with app or controller.

This is a very fun drone to fly. Very quick and responsive. Has powerful brushless motors and is reasonably quiet. Flight time maxes out at 16 minutes... 14 is more realistic. The range is more than adequate for its size...you have to have really good eyes to see it more than 4-500 ft away. GPS works quite well...hovers in place well, the Return To Home works amazingly well for this level drone (landed within 1-2 feet of take off location). The size and weight is definitely a plus. Very compact, comes in a nice fitted case, and weighs less than 250gm (ie it doesn't need to be registered with the FAA). The light weight does make it more susceptible to the wind, so be careful. The Follow Me works decently (it actually is following the gps signal in your phone). The Orbit function works quite well. It takes decent (if not quite good) photos and the clarity of video is pretty good. So why only 4 stars?
--here's why-- there is no image stabilization for video, so your video will not be super smooth. The super wide-angle lens lends to a frequent "fish-eye" appearance. The optical flow sensor on the bottom sort of works, but isn't very sensitive. I never could get the WayPoint function to work at all (tried 2 different phones, both android and iOS, 2 different days, and 2 different locations).
So...I think this is a nice, small, foldable GPS drone that is a ton of fun to fly and is good for beginners...but is not a great video drone.

I purchased this drone as my first GPS drone and first drone with a camera. I was given a cheap little stunt drone months back that I played around with, but I think of this HS510 as my first "real" drone. After a few flights, here are my thoughts:

Pros:
-Well-made and sturdy body
-Controller feels great and the controls are easy and intuitive
-GPS features seem to work well, especially the return to home feature which is really nice
-Camera is great. Takes awesome pictures and the camera settings can be changed (on your smartphone) including zoom, contrast, brightness, etc. even during flight.
-Carrying case is awesome and perfect for traveling/hiking/keeping in the car.

Cons:
-Video is a little shakey, but at this price point, without a 3-axis gimble, it's as good as you could wish for.
-Camera does not adjust (up and down) automatically, it must be done manually before flight.
-Have had a couple issues with propellers breaking/falling off. The breaking happened from a collision (my fault, not the drone's), but the falling off problem seemingly came from having to guess about how tight to put on the replacment propellers. None of this would be a huge problem, but at the time of writing this there are no replacement parts available for order anywhere.
-GPS follow me function has not worked any time I've tried it. Always says I'm too close or too far away for it to follow me. I've tried it at all distances so I'm not really sure what's going on, but it's still possible I'm doing something wrong here.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. There are a couple of quirks with it that I'm sure I will figure out with more practice. And as soon as replacement parts are available I'll have a lot more confidence flying and learning more, without the fear of breaking or losing a propeller and losing the ability to fly. I would recommend this for beginners or anyone who wants a light, compact, folding drone with a good camera.

*also please not the pictures and videos taken by this drone are much better (especially when using a memory card) than the ones shown on Amazon in the reviews. Amazon compresses the files and makes them a much lower quality than what you see when you have the raw files!
