I like it!! I did a lot of research before purchasing this drone. Rather than covering all its attributes recommend you go to the HS510 review on Amazon by Brenda D. She nailed it and sold me! BTW, this is my second drone. My first I bought from a company in China and it failed due to an electronic problem on the first flight. I sent it back and after almost a month my warranty claim is not answered as the drone is in Chinese customs. Suggest you buy through Amazon to avoid potential problems of this nature. As to the shortcoming of the camera, etc. If you need professional photography then you know you will need to spend much more money to get a drone of that caliber. I am having a blast with my HS510.

WOW, what an impressive drone!
I've had my new HS510 just over a week now and I have to say that I'm very impressed with it! This is my second HS purchase, with the first being their HS700 model, which I still use (both gifts from Hubby!).
The HS510 is one of Holy Stone's newest drone models, a smaller, but very capable and portable, foldable drone. Able to shoot 4K video and photos, this drone has a very easy learning curve and features both GPS and GLONASS for safe, accurate and secure "return to home" reliability, even in the event of a complete disconnect with the remote control (should you encounter excessive interference or accidentally fly it out of range).
The advertisement states that this is a beginner's drone and based on the easy learning curve, I guess that would be true. However in no way would I categorize this little jewel as a toy! The first thing I noticed upon unpackaging was the quality feel of the Drone itself. You'll find that this is not a cheap plastic toy, but a well made, quality, full featured drone that simply feels solid and well-balanced in your hand! Weighing in at 245g, this drone does not require FAA registration. Coming with its own nice carrying case it is ideal for any grab-and-go situation.
The HS510 features 2 flight speeds, One Touch take off and landing, Return to Home with a fail-safe feature, 90 degree adjustable camera gimbal, and an Optical Sensor for ease of landing when flying indoors, in low light situations or at low altitudes without GPS.
Within the HS510's app you'll find fun and useful features such as Follow Me, Tap Fly, Headless Mode, and Point-of-Interest Orbit Mode, all of which operate with a simple touch of your smartphone or iPhone screen. Also within the app is the ability to adjust your camera settings for 2.7K or 4K photos and video recording, and simple aperture/shutter type choices to compensate for filming conditions on extremely bright or overly cloudy days. You can use up to a 32G micro SD card inserted in the Drone or choose to save the videos and photos directly to your phone in lower resolution format.
The drone battery provides consistent 15-16 minutes of flight time and I have found that it is fully recharged in 2 hours or less, a bit faster than the stated 150 minutes. Purchasing a second battery would be a good idea, just to keep the fun times going, or to have on hand for those extended flight and photo opportunities.
With all that being said, the HS 510 is super easy to fly and control. I personally have flown it in wind conditions of 5-8mph with wind gusts of 12-15mph and it remains steady and on course, with little to no drift issues, and precise return-to-home. You can stick the landing every time with this small but mighty drone, and never fear a fly-away situation*
Also included in the app is a flight log that records your flight information along with the ability to pull up the map on your phone screen and locate the exact position of your drone in the off-chance of it being lost.
Now to the very best feature included with this drone and all other Holy Stone drones: HS CUSTOMER SERVICE! This company stands behind each and every one of their drone models with quick and personalized customer service above and beyond any that I have ever seen. So many times, even in situations where a drone has been lost or damaged due to operator error, Holy Stone's Customer Service Team is there to assist. This group is knowledgeable and eager to help with any questions while learning about their product, and more importantly, keep their customers flying worry-free!
I would definitely recommend this feature-packed foldable and portable drone for beginners and experienced Pilots as well. Priced right, and backed by Holy Stone's Customer Service, it's a drone too good to pass up!
(*ALWAYS review and follow the calibration instructions exactly before every flight, and remember to put your smart phone in airplane mode, make certain the Drone is connected to the remote via the app, and make sure you have a proper GPS lock.)

A great drone for beginners with great customer service

I almost placed my order for DJI mavic mini, later cancelled and decided to try this one. I can say that I am pleased with the drone with this price.

Runtime is more than enough for occasional flyers. The batteries can be left for charging together so no worries for switching.

Camera quality is good. Takes clear photographs. You can see in the photo as the shingle are nice and crisp. The video is bit shaky while moving and not as smooth as DJI but again I am not doing professional videography so I get what I want. Overall I like the video.

Its easy to handle. If getting good gps singal without much wind, it stay in the same spot even in little bit of wind

Have solid build as I dropped it twice from ~10ft and still flying like the same.

Last but not the least customer service, I am very happy with them as I had a problem with my initial order. Contacted cs with problem and video of the problem and they were able to get the replacement delivered in two days. Way to go Holy Stone.

I would recommend this drone for anyone who is trying their hands on drone and want a good quality. I saved some bucks and I am happy with overall quality.
