First Load the required app!! If it immediately crashes then you will fly by the seat of your pants.

The required app was updated and now it crashes and closes immediately. It seems that the app might now have some clickbait promising some free battery. The app is : Ophelia Go. I would suggest loading the app on your phone and see if it works. Perhaps wait for next update to correct this problem before purchasing this drone. When it worked it was a nice beginner drone but I think I should have purchased the other more expensive, more popular drone that everyone else got. Also this drone is to be registered with the F.A.A. due to its weight....pain in the butt.
Don't bother

It doesn't hover in one spot for more than 2 seconds then over compensates and is all over the place and is just down right dangerous.
Not a smooth landing Crashed down every time.

I bought this drone for my adult son for Christmas. He was so excited to try it out. He began to fly it and it was going well. As soon as he tried to land it, it came crashing down. He tried a few times and the landing was never a smooth one as it is supposed to. It crashed down every time. At one landing it flew right into my daughter in law leaving a red mark on her. That was it for my son. He even watched videos on how to land it. It never landed right. Going to return it for another one. If that one does the same thing I will be returning it for a refund.
Unpredictable! Can lose connection and crash without warning

This seems to fly just fine in perfect conditions within close range. However it consistently loses connection at about 200 - 250 meters, far below it's advertised range. I've also had several instances where it lost connection when it was only 50 meters or so away and instead of it returning to home it went in a completely random direction and I could not control it at all and it crashed from flying sideways at a high speed and I couldn't stop it. If it didn't have these issues it would be great. Unfortunately I have experienced several flaws with this drone and would not recommend it.
Why is this happening?

Can someone tell me why the camera of my drone doesn’t move at all? Like I can’t even make zoom or move it from up to down. Since this problem happened this was my best buy of 2020 but now I don’t know what to do with my drone because for me is useless without the movement of the e camera. Hope someone can give me an answer please.
BARELY a TOY

I had purchased this as a cheap option for replacing a lost DJI Phantom 4. In short, I feel intentionally misled by the advertising. There's NO WAY the advertaising matches the products performance.PROS: Inexpensive (twice as expensive for the quality of product), small pack-out, and quiet in flight. That's about it.CONS: The "4K" resolution camera produces barely acceptable cartoonish snapshots when compared to the DJI standards. I'm a bit upset that I bought this toy; I needed something that would produce quality images and was fooled by the "4K Resolution" advertising. The images have a huge amount of Lens Distortion and pixelation. The control is NOT responsive, it's extremely (dangerously) sluggish. It's image stability is worse than its flight stability, complicating the ability to frame a scene, it takes about 2 to 5 minutes to get a single, barely stable, well-composed photo. The 7-HOUR CHARGING TIME is just absurd, likely because it's USB charged, charging a Hi-Cap battery on a low-power charger - durh.. You will NEED more than 1 battery if you want to fly more than once inside of 30 minutes. The built-in phone holder is obviously fragile and likely to break with any regular use; it BARELY holds a Samsung NOTE 4. The APP connects to the WiFi of the aircraft, not the controller, tell me how that makes sense; it's fairly weak and will begin to lose its visual & navigational downlink past 30 yards. The controller will still control the aircraft, I'm not going to test its range because I'll probably be keeping it as a toy, to which it most certainly qualifies. This is not for kiddos, the responsiveness requires an adult intuitive forethought to predict and control the behaviours of the aircraft. There's barely a difference from the GPS On/Off modes to give you an idea. There is no actual gymbal, the visuals bank hard no matter what you do and the props are ALWAYS in the shot. Battery flight time is about 10-15 minutes at best and you'll have to rely on 2x AA's to power the controller.OVERALL: I will be saving up for a Mavick, don't waste your time with this one if you want a "GOOD" quadcopter OR decent photos...
