I thought the HS210 might be a little difficult for my 7 year old, being this was his first drone... Within a week he was showing me the flips it can do! The drone came with 3 batteries, which was cool for longer flight time. 1 battery is never enough. I would suggest flying the drone indoors, unless there is no wind outside. Because it's so light,
A little breeze can take the drone off its course. I recommend the HS210 from Holy Stone for beginner drone pilots, and kids . The manual/instructions are easy to read and understand.

After playing with the Holy Stone HS210 for a few days, I have to say it is really fun! It's super easy to learn to fly and the batteries actually last around 9-10 minutes each. I hope it stays that way for a while. Obviously, it's a tiny thing, so flying outdoors in windy conditions can be challenging, but put it on the fastest speed and it's surprisingly powerful. Don't get me wrong, the wind will still push the little drone around, but I've still managed to fly it in 5-10 mph wind with some success. The drone is probably mainly made for indoor use, but I find being out on a wide open field is best for testing its speed capabilities, plus it's more fun that way. The only reason I am giving it four stars is for the batteries themselves. It is a pain having to slide them in and snapping the small, wired battery port into place because it is so small. I wish Holy Stone would make a battery that connects directly to the drone without a wire. Still, it is worth every penny and I highly recommend it for kids and adults alike.

Works well I doors and easy for a excited six year old to fly. Battery needs to be centered or it will more difficult to fly. Also easily manipulated by the wind outside. Overall I’m happy and so isn’t my son!
