Prepare to have fun

First le me say that this thing is fun. After having played 3 batteries worth of flying I came to a conclusion that this mini drone has a big personality. Fly around the room, terrorize animals and bounce off things... this mini drone is a beast. Winner is HS210!!! 3 batteries for 20 mins of flight.
First Step-Learn how to fly on this inexpensive drone. It flies great.

This is a great drone to learn how to fly on. It responds well and is a steady level flyer. Great for beginners and more advanced flyers that went to practice indoors or outside with very little wind.
Awesome fun and cheap drones. They just keep flying after big crashes.

We love these little drones on a rainy day. They are very well built. They can take a big crash and keep flying. Very fun little drones :).
Worth Buying

Highly recommended drone. I gifted this drone for my kid's graduation. The drone is amazing and easy to operate. It is easy to assemble and you need flat surface to make it fly. Definitely an indoor drone and its safe to let it fly even in a small place since the blades of the drone is protected with the plastic circle and no worry of getting it struck somewhere. The best part is the re-chargeable battery and it comes with 3 batteries, so if you run out of one battery you can use the other. My 6 year old loves to play with it, especially with the flipping option in the drone. Happy that i bought this to my kid during this pandemic time, since we don't go out to play. Already recommended to friends and worth buying.
Great beginner drone for the $

First off, I am a complete novice when it comes to drones. (quadcopters) I have flown basic RC helicopter (way more expensive than this) and they were a bit of a nightmare. I knew I wanted something with some assists so I could actually control it, and I knew I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on something I barely understood.
Enter the Holystone HS210 Mini Drone. It fit the bill perfectly. Easy to setup, easy to fly, and if you smack a wall (which I did...a lot) easy to recover without crashing. It is about the size of your palm, so it doesn't feel as fragile as some of the micros look. The auto take off takes a bit of a light touch, but I did manage not to plant it on the ceiling. If you are anything like me, you get a new thing and you want to play with it right away. Much to my surprise, the batteries charged quickly. (I used a USB brick from a phone charger, the instructions say not to plug directly into a USB socket. I believe that means the electrical sockets with built in USB ports)
I read through the instructions one time, and I was off and flying around my living room. I can see where headless mode (you basically just push a direction and it goes) would be good for kids. But I much prefer to leave that off and fly it proper. And remember, I suck at these things. After the first battery was drained, (approx 10mins) I felt confident enough to fly it around into other rooms and man this little thing is fun.
I have not brought it outside although I may do so later. I had to turn ceiling fans off to fly indoors so I doubt it would handle wind well.
I never expected to get such a fun little drone for less than $30. If you want to see what all the buzz is about, (pun intended) then grab an Holystone HS210 and start flying.
Better than expected

I thought it was easy to learn and very controllable. It is also very durable. We had a mini helicopter (big compared to this) that was hard to control broke from repeated crashing. This little guys holds up much better. I haven't needed to use any spare parts yet. I would rebuy this as a gift for someone else.
