This drone is really amazing and a phenomenal value for the price as compared to other very expensive drone models. Battery life is short but so are other models and you have to calibrate the compass every time you start it up. As long as you know this going in there should be no issue on doing this and saving well over 1k compared to other models and the carrying case is huge plus too. Great drone without breaking the bank. Holy Stone’s customer service has been awesome too following up on any question I had, even the ones I asked before I purchased it. Great job Holy Stone.

It is a fantastic drone for beginners. Fly it outside over grass as it doesn’t have blade guards. Very easy to use but it will take time to get use to it. The worse part, the battery takes 5 - 7 hours to charge, hopefully that will change in the near future!

Never owned a drone, but did some research and went with the HS720. Was very happy with the packaging and case. The battery takes 5-7 hours to charge, but hopefully will have at least one spare soon. Took it for the first flight and was pleased with the controls and how it handled in the breeze that is always present at my house. I will say this thing is tough. I had a minor disagreement with a small tree branch but no damage. After taking off again, a HAWK flew out of the woods behind my house and attacked the drone. From about 50’ it hit the ground because I lost control when the hawk made contact with the drone. It landed in the field in front on my house on some rock. I was expecting the worst, but a simple power cycle and recalibration of the compass allowed me to get back in the air and I flew it to the house. Decided not to press my luck on day 1. Definitely recommend this for a beginner.

*Update*
Second flight was great until the battery got low and it went to return to where I took off.... on the other side of my house. I couldn’t stop it from running in to the side of my house. Now I have two broken drone arms. Will be contacting the manufacturer for replacement parts. I feel the drone should return to the controller. Not to where it initially took off

This thing is awesome, didn't want to get too crazy since this is my first flight with my first drone, the crazy will come soon enough. It's great for beginners, the auto fly/hover GPS works great, the part I like best is if you get disoriented you just let go of the thumb sticks and it will stop and hover. The resolution on the camera is fantastic for a $280 drone. If you need a drone to start with, this is the one for you.

Coming from FPV race drones, this one operates much differently. Great drone for beginners or aspiring photographer. It’s easy to set up and fly, and it takes quality photos. Holystone has also demonstrated great customer service. I would recommend this aircraft to a friend.
