After reading a lot of reviews, my husband and I decided on The Holy Stone drone. We absolutely love the amount of features we got for the money. We like that it takes amazing pictures, video, and it is super easy to get started flying and great for beginners.

Maiden voyage was unbelievably awesome! Easy to fly right out of the box. (My first time ever flying a drone!) Camera quality is not professional grade, but that was to be expected with a sub-$300 GPS drone. Easy to use; would recommend for adult beginners for sure! Flight time as advertised. Included travel case is great. Ready to get back out there as soon as battery is charged!!

I decided to purchase this drone to document an upcoming outdoor school event. I chose this model based on battery life, automated features, and camera quality. I am not a professional drone operator by any means, however, I have multiple lesser quality "toy" models that I have become proficient at flying. This drone absolutely blows them away with the quality of construction and features. It is very easy to control compared to completely manual flight drones. It has an automatic take off and landing button as well as a return to home function. It gives me good piece on mind to know that if it goes out of range, or I get disoriented flying, it can come back and land manually using gps. I did test this feature several times and it worked flawlessly. Do keep in mind that it does not detect obstacles and can still crash into them on an automatic return flight. This is unlikely though because the drone will ascend to 100' before returning home and then descend straight down to land. The camera seems good quality and functions well using a two direction gimble. A three way would be better but you can still rotate the drone to compensate for this lacking feature. Picture quality in first person view is very stable. The follow me mode and point of interest mode work well and will come in handy. The battery life is superb. It seemed forever before the low battery alarm sounded! It amazed me just how compact this drone folds up for storage. You could fit 2 or three of these in a regular size backpack. It and all of its components fit in a small zippered carrying case with room for an extra battery, of which, you will definitely want to aquire with how much fun this drone is to fly!

I was very impressed with the drone package I received from Holy Stone. The packaging was top notch, the carrying case was of great quality. The controller is very nice, the highest quality controller I've seen from Holy Stone. The battery meter and signal meter are awesome to have for a beginner, especially with a drone with this high range and battery life. The drone holds its position fairly well, as you would expect from a gps drone. I would definitely recommend this drone for a beginner, though I would recommend a wide open space without trees or power lines as with any drone. I like to do most of my outdoor flying at above 100 feet, which this drone ascends to with ease. The camera, while not stabilized, is goood for home videos, pictures of scenery, youtube video, and learning drone photography. This is the first outdoor gps drone I've purchased from Holy Stone, and it is a great outdoor beginner package, it comes with everything you need other than the 2 AA batteries for the controller. But once you charge the battery and get it out, it's surprisingly quiet. Once I get above the tree line, its a fun one to fly around the neighborhood, fairly responsive. The video added to my review is a bit jerky as it was a little windy that day, but it shows you the sharpness of the camera, and even with the movement has little to no "jello". The still shots have great definition, but work best when taking from a downward angle to avoid the propellers in the way.

It is a sturdy, foldable quadcopter. Expect features such as follow me mode that gets the drone to follow you no matter how fast you move, long flight time of 26 minutes from one battery and GPS assisted functions such as return to home. This is the best drone for the money. It is something that cannot be fully described. You have to experience it!

I started with similar style drones and moved up to this HS 720 due to camera and size.
This is a magnificent product. The compact size, stability, camera, good battery life, customer service, really for $300.00 what’s not to like.
If anyone complains whatsoever on this product they seriously need to get a life and get real. This is well beyond a entry level drone.
You could never go wrong with this high standard of a company and product.
