This is my first drone and it works great. I love it’s simplicity and takes good pictures. I would definitely recommend for beginners or intermediate.

The Holy stone hs120d is a quality product for the price. Picture quality was surprisingly better than expected. The attached photos were taken from this product. Also a good drone to teach kids how to fly drones. I would recommend this drone for beginners and those teaching kids to fly.

I bought this drone as a gift for my wife. She absolutely loved it! The drone is lightweight, very good for the price, and has a decent camera. If you clearly follow the instruction for use, the drone will fly smoothly. This is my wife's first drone and the first time she calibrated it outside the house, it flew immediately and almost got stuck in the nearby tree. But within seconds the drone made its way through the tree by cutting the leaves. After that, we decided to try it in an open park, and it worked well. It took a while to follow the steps to calibrate the drone and fly it, but after a few attempts, it becomes easy. Our iPhone 8 Plus phone fits perfectly in the phone holder of the transmitter (without phone case) and each battery life is about 18mins. For beginners, I would recommend not to try flying the drone even if there is a slight wind as the drone wobbles and it might be difficult for a beginner to manage it.

For the price, the Holy Stone HS120D provides a host of features usually found on considerably more expensive drones. One-key take-off/landing, follow-me, return-to-home (low power, lost signal, on-demand), GPS or headless mode, automatic recording to smartphone. The image and video quality is quite acceptable, and I think it's easy for beginners to fly; it has adjustments for beginners or more advanced users as well. One needs to remember that this a basically a toy, weighing less than 8 oz. in total, and as such, complaints about weight-carrying capacity, speed/wind capability seem me to be misguided: considering its capabilities and its price, it easily rates 5 stars in my opinion.

In addition, customer service is extraordinary.: when you call them the answer, speak excellent English, thoroughly know their products, and don't hesitate to send a part or a unit if there's any indication that it may be faulty.

This is a really nice drone for the price. If you're going to be an enthusiast then I'd suggest getting a more expensive one. However, make sure its holystones! This thing feels and looks better than my previous drone and it was twice the price. The case for this product was the selling point for me. Most drones don't come with them, I'm very peculiar about things like that. I have it perfectly tucked away in its case and I'll randomly fly it. I've flown it into branches, bushes you name it pretty much and not even a scratch! The camera was also surprisingly good on it too. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a drone!
