Pint Sized Fun... for a perfectly still day.

The HS340 is nearly the drone we all want. It is a lot of fun to fly, has a passable camera, and is actually pretty durable for such a small unit (pictured in my toddlers hand). It does some spins and flips which my son loves, too. 2 major issues: 1. The tiniest breeze really pushes this drone around... even on the highest speed setting. 2. The drone "drifts" no matter how much I adjust the trim. I think there is a lot of fun to be had here still, just has to be under the right conditions.

Finally got a chance to review the hs340 drone. Wind died down. It is real easy to set up, and start flying right away. I found speed one fine for indoors but not strong enough for outdoors if any wind. Speed two was fine. Drone did all it was supposed to do:
Flips, circle flying, headless, etc.
The trim function was more difficult and took me several tries before it finally hovered more or less in place. Pix resolution is good. My only wish is that HS would include a replacement set of propeller guards as I hit a tree on my first take off before trim and broke two guards. Had no replacements. Also wish that the app had info below the icons. Hard to remember what they all correspond to while flying. Definitely would recommend this fun little toy drone. Sharing a pix of my garage. Gave it a four star for beginners as you need to learn to fly before trim or drone will most likely fly away if outdoors. So learn inside.
