Your first flights should be away from trees if you are letting a 4 year old use it.

This is pretty fun, comparable to any vood drone under $200 for about 70. Hard to control with phone but great with remote. I have had it stuck in 2 trees already, but got it out. I played with it insit the house and took good pictures of my roof to check the condition. Battery life is pretty good (not great), but you get a second battery and I don't want to play with it more the 20 minutes at a time anyway. You need the hs easy fly app. I wish I knew how to give it internet access while connected to my phone via wifi.

This drone is great for beginners to fly inside. Just remember to attach the propeller guards so that you don't destroy the props when you crash into walls, ceilings, floors, etc...and trust me, you will crash. We've had this fall two stories onto both carpet and tile, and the drone just keeps working. I've been able to comfortably hand over the controls to my kids for them to play without worry for the drone or my furniture. Battery life is as advertised...around 10 minutes each, and it comes with 2 batteries. The stability is good also both inside and using outside with light winds. I haven't tried to use it as a charger or needed to use the flashlight function but, I would definitely recommend this drone for beginners.

For a drone this size it's great the video can be a little shaky but that's the case with most drones it holds position even with a lot of wind the app is useful too because you don't need to take the controller making this already portable drone even more portable the only complaints I have are the prop guards being a bit hard to take off but that's not really a big problem

I bought this drone for my son, and he loves it! All four of the props can be fold into the body ,also, it's very light, the whole thing can fit in your pocket and just carry out home. Photos and videos can be taken using the drone and saved on your phone, It takes nice photos and videos. Over all, this drone delivered great features for lots of enjoyment, this is a nice drone to fly for kids.
