Great next step from a beginner drone

I bought this for my grandson as his second drone to take a next step in his learning and experience. I was looking for something with increased flight distance, time, and picture quality for a decent price. We found it with this model. The price was right for this feature packed unit. I was most impressed with how quickly he was able to pick up control of this unit and the app interface. In just a short time, we moved from practicing inside to outside and he learned the auto land, follow me and circle modes. I was impressed with what it has to offer and am happy to have found this drone for him!

Pros:
1. Easy to fly
2. Decent price compared to similar drones
3. 15-16 minutes of flight time
4. Photos and video are high quality
5. Dual bay battery charger (although it charges 1 battery at a time)
6. Good phone app (Ophelia GO)
7. Great package (drone, 2 batteries, charger, carrying case, spare propellers)
8. 2 speeds of operation (1 for the truly beginner and 1 for the more experienced pilot)
Cons:
1. Camera angle has to be changed manually before flight, cannot change it while the drone is flying
Overall it's an excellent drone for the money. It hovers in place when you stop controlling, does fairly well in low-medium wind conditions, Return To Home is responsive.
Highly suggest this drone.

Fun drone, very stable and durable...I suggest this drone for beginners and experts alike. I'm having a ball with it..hard to stick a landing though....still working on it...heart surgery in the way of practice

Awesome drone. Second drone I've owned now and I'm blown away by how intuitive and easy to control it is. For someone who grew up on first person view video games this comes naturally. Excellent value!

It’s compact, powerful and easy to fly.
I’ve had it for a week now and had the opportunity to fly it indoors and outdoors. It’s a great beginner drone if you want something to race or as a toy (albeit a high end one). As it’s under 250g I believe you don’t have to register with a drone license so might be a good way to practice before you get a bigger drone. Very fun bit of kit!
The battery life is as advertised, and the pack holds charge well when not in use. I got at least 15 minutes of air time.
Setup is relatively easy and it paired with my phone in no time at all to let me see the video feed, there is even the option to control it through the phone but as you have a remote supplied that is the better option.
The remote control seems to have great range and could easily control movements over 100m away. Flying without video on the screen is not particularly useful if you are trying to shoot video or photos.
Overall verdict well worth the money and a great starter GPS drone.
