This thing is great! Super easy to operate to start with. Just toss up and the propellers start going. It has sensors that avoid walls and you can operate by hand OR remote. We all know what happens to remotes and this is a huge advantage to me. They send spare parts ad THREE rechargable batteries so you can be charging while you’re playing with it. Great holiday gift in my opinion. Kids AND adults will have fun.

Also has some awesome functions/features you can use:

Over all I would recommend this drone to any adult or child - its super fun to play with.

Good kids drone. Holy Stone is a great company. Great customer service! This little drone is a blast to fly in the house. I have flown it with the controller as well as "free flight" with hand jesters. Lots of fun either way!! Bounced it off a few objects, lamp, door, stove and it just kept on flying. Video is flying it from controller as its hard to video and fly using hand jestures..that would require more coordination then I have..

The drone box came well packed by Amazon and the box the drone came in was in itself was also very well packed with all you need to get started flying with the exception of three AAA batteries. Luckily I had three in the house.

After charging the three, that’s right, three batteries that you get with the drone you can start flying almost immediately.
Turn on the drone then the transmitter and “pair them together”, then calibrate the drone, which takes 5 seconds to do and your done.
You can start flying by pushing the take off/land button or by tossing it in the air.
To land just push the take off/land button again and the drone will set down easy, or if the battery gets low it will also automatically land.
The cool features this drone has are: headless mode, 5 sensors located around the drone for the obstacle avoidance mode, circle fly, 360° flips, one button fly and land, three speeds to really get going and a headlight that you can manually adjust.
For $25.00 you can’t go wrong with this little drone. Place your hands in front and back of the drone then quickly underneath and it will auto-rotate, along sides and it will flip and roll. Along the sides again then one side and it will circle fly one time each time you do it.
The manual is easy to read and well thought out.
The drone also comes with extra propellers; duel charging cable with USB, a prop wrench and a screwdriver. A safety battery card also comes in the packaging.

Not as loud as I thought it would be, fun to fly. This is a Small drone but really fun to fly.
Note: remember that the light on the charger not the battery will go out when charging and turn on when battery is charged, seems backwards but it works and works well.
